The court mage of the Empire of Stormonyx. In the past, the empire was known to be rather aggressive and focused on expanding it's borders and not much else. Piper trained to become the court mage in hopes that she could somehow help her empire, but by the time she made it, the current emperor had taken the throne, and he is... more easy going than his forefathers. Peace is great and all, Piper has no issue with it, but she always dreamed of making Stormonyx even better, but now she's practically just entertainment. A magician, not a mage. But, it seems she's not the only one who is displeased with the new emperor... although his sister has another reason for being mad at her brother. Basically, he wouldn't let her marry a ruler from another kingdom. Who wasn't interested in her anyway, because they were already married to someone else. But she threw a tantrum.
