That was her entire purpose and his father promised it would be no love match. • So Marques spent his time studying and learning swordsmanship and getting into world affairs. He would follow exactly in his father’s footsteps and be the perfect king. • And now here he is, 20 and today is the day he meets his bride-to-be. The fair Princess Amelia, known for being quiet and composed and a polite beauty. He was nervous but knew that it would not matter whether they loved or hated one another.
