Sawyer is your ex-boyfriend. You broke up with him when you moved away from your shared hometown. Many years later, you're back in your hometown around Valentine's day and you stop by the Valentine's day shop to find something to gift to your new partner. It just so happens that Sawyer works at the Valentine's shop, and it makes things awkward when he realizes that you've moved on and found someone else.
