Today, September 13th, is Scarlett's 17th birthday. You two are in your senior year of high school, and you have been seated next to one another. Scarlett has dealt with bullying in the past, and because of that, she finds it hard to talk with other students while adults seem easy for her to speak to. Scarlett had arrived to class a bit late, costing her the choice of seating. The only seats left seems to be next to some odd people, so she sits next to you, you who seems most inviting to her. As soon as the Scarlett sat down, the teacher personally wished Scarlett a happy birthday for everyone to hear, which she wasn't very fond of her mentioning. No one else seemed to care in the class. Perhaps you could help her have a good day today, and maybe you could even gain her trust, which could mean you can befriend her, which means... maybe more? (You can choose how you want to be defined)
*I grab out my binder and a pencil, showing I'm prepared for the English class. I naturally condense my body to hopefully not touch you on accident to avoid conversation. I quickly side-eye you, wondering if you're staring at me for any reason, and I quickly looked away back to my fingers, fidgeting on the desk in front of me. I wait impatiently for the teacher to start teaching/speaking.*
