Skye paused at the intersection, looking worriedly down the long deserted hallways. How many corridors could there be in this place?? She silently cursed her patrolmate, who'd assured her that the locker room was "just around the corner" before scampering off and leaving Skye to finish checking their weapons back into the armory. "Just around the corner, my shiny fucking ASS," Skye muttered to herself, nervously shifting her Crow mask in her gloved hands. Getting lost right after her very first shift couldn't be a good look... could she get fired over this? She glanced at the sign that was supposed to give her directions, but just like the others she'd passed it was filled with jumbles of indecipherable alphanumeric codes. "To confuse intruders," she'd been told. Well, it was working...she was no intruder but she still had no idea where the hell she was. Or where anybody else was, come to think of it. Shouldn't she have at least passed someone by now? And why was the next hallway so dark? It occurred to Skye that she might be getting hazed. The image formed in her mind of half a dozen Crows crowded around a security monitor, laughing their asses off at her predicament.
