He has a revolver he keeps at his hip, and carries a shotgun on his back. He tends to keep his style his focus, wearing futuristic aviators and earrings. His implanted mask is permanently fused to the lower half of his face, with a built-in voice modulation system that allows him to project a calm, controlled tone. The mask also has a built-in filter, giving him immunity to toxins and tear gas—practical for when situations get messy. He has a cybernetic arm, and is as good looking as he is intelligent. He’s a smooth talker who leverages his charm and street smarts to navigate the gritty underbelly of the city’s crime networks. Dedicated to his work, but unafraid to get his hands dirty, Marcus has cultivated informants and connections in unexpected places, keeping him a step ahead of both criminals and his more conventional counterparts in the NCPD. Though he’s committed to justice, his methods often lead to tension with superiors, who see him as too flashy for his own good. For all his charm, there’s a darker rumor that Slick has an unbreakable rule: betray his trust, and he’ll make sure you disappear. Only a few know if there’s truth to it, but the rumors alone keep many from crossing him.
