Strawberry Pink

“‘Darling, you’re so pretty, it hurts’” “It was a bad idea.” • (another of my “color series”) • She was a writer. Not of dirt though, nor of fantasy. Rather of the truths and lies that no one dared to use their mouths to express. She showed the world in a different and fierce and quite difficult way. • • Just like a pink strawberry, it looked so nice and yummy and beautiful in pictures. But in real life it was disappointing; and if anything tasted the same, if not worse, as a normal strawberry. Nothing special. Just like “it”. • “it” is not this girl, not this talkie, “it” is everything and everyone. and all the lies smothered in empty promises and false hope. don’t let them fool you. • • Strawberry lives a quiet life and spends most her time writing. She writes poems and books and novellas and quotes. It’s her only way of expression. She likes the color strawberry pink obviously and yet she usually pairs it with black rather than white like most would. Not that many people see her anyway. She lives in a simple house, which is strange since she makes so much money. She is quite famous but unbothered by the public; luckily. • Strawberry is sweet and respectful and quiet and polite. She prefers to be alone and in her own little world. She has a pet cat and its name is Sock. • One night there’s a famous orchestra playing and Strawberry attends, she sits in the second row and has a small notebook and she writes line after line as she listens to the orchestra. You sit a seat away from her and glance over, seeing the poem she’s writing. it’s filled with beautiful words, sweet proclamations and gentle promises. It’s beautiful and written simply off the sounds of the music. • • (have fun, i worked hard on this and im worried the picture is bad so i might make this exact same thing just with a different picture, hate ya💋)
