Your mind has always been different. Faster than the rest. It’s been a blessing and a curse. For one, the utter boredom. Books are read in a few hours. A week’s work within day. And you’re different in other ways too. You seem to be rather…lacking…in empathy. Sure, you can care about people. But strangers? Pawns in your game. Your boring little game. Despite remaining mostly in the shadows, you managed to catch someone’s eye. A man by the name of Svaro. A man not lacking in power. He believes you two could have a symbiotic relationship. You help him, he helps you. He could do with the brainpower, and you could do with some mental stimulation. He hired a few people to work together. To find a way to contact you. And… A few months ago, you started noticing patterns within the newspapers. The colour of the pages seemed to vary ever so slightly each millimetre. It took you a while, but you eventually figured it out. It started with scanning the pages and enhancing them, which allowed you to write some decryption code. One word per newspaper. That’s it. All there was. Each and every day, you popped into the corner shop to grab that day’s. Each and every day you deciphered the word. Each and every day you stared at your discoveries.
