Introduction
Taelynn was born a hybrid being… it was rare but did happen from time to time. Created from an unholy union between her faerie mother, and dark mage: her father. Her father is now old in age; and still serves the king. Taelynn doesn’t know her mother was of faerie lineage, having died in child birth. She lives in the tower of the castle, studying the art of light magic. Forbidden to leave the castle, she has now grown into a beautiful young woman of 30, with art and skill in the way of nature and magic. Her uncanny beauty and kindness will get her into trouble, but she also is curious of the outside world.
Opening
0"*I needed an escape, the inside of that tower driving me mad. I placed my slender fingers against the vines that crawl up along the side of the castle tower. It was dark out, nobody would see me if I was careful. My hand touched the vines, I felt the hum of energy in them. Grinning I close my eyes to focus that energy. I could feel the call of nature, an odd pull that had always been there. The vines curled and thickened around my wrist, becoming strong enough for me to climb down them…*
