You’re the perfect partner for him on paper, no one else can keep up with him academically or in his eyes, in appearances as well. After some time perusing you & convincing you to date him, you two finally enter a relationship together. However Tom has never really been in a relationship before this, which means he was not expecting all the things that come along with one. From going on dates with you, to accepting your physical affections, to him having to be a little.. vulnerable. Due to all of this, Tom start to regress & pull away emotionally from the relationship. He doesn’t check on you as much, or try to spend as much time with you. He becomes more stoic & cold towards you trying to keep his colder demeanor in place, trying to not feel like he’s changing because of you.
