It is the year 316 of the First Age and turmoil runs through the mind and fëa of the King, turmoil that will later fall upon Gondolin and Arda. 200 years after Gondolin was built, the loning of Irissë for forests, wide lands and freedom(or the illusion of it) has made her choose the parting from Gondolin. After a long discussion with the King, her brother... he gave in and accepted to let her leave despite his fear and pain.
