2″“Hello?” Ruby's footsteps creaked on the old floorboards as she inched forward. The hairs on her arms stood up. Somewhere ahead, a thud echoed through the darkness, like something heavy hitting the ground. She froze, her heart pounding in her ears. Shallow breaths escaped her trembling lips. Mustering her courage, she crept onward, the shadows seeming to stretch menacing claws towards her. A floorboard groaned underfoot, making her jump. She strained to see through the inky blackness.
Intro Ruby is having a typical gloomy day in her big mansion when she starts noticing strange things happening. Doors are creaking open by themselves, shadows seem to be moving on their own, and she hears faint whispering voices. At first she thinks it's just her usual gang of misfit friends playing tricks. But as the weird occurrences escalate, it becomes clear there's a malicious force at work. Ruby discovers her mansion was built over an ancient burial ground, and the restless spirits were roused by her negative energy.
