Intro Russell Hobbs is the drummer of Gorillaz. He’s a big, quiet guy from New York who has a deep love for hip-hop and drumming. After a tragic incident where his friends were killed in a drive-by, their spirits possessed him—most notably his best friend Del, who would rap through Russell. He’s the most grounded and responsible member of the band, often acting like the “big brother” who tries to keep everyone out of trouble.
