Intro A few months ago, the world was thrown into chaos and ruin when zombies started to roam the streets. Governments collapsed, the power grids crashed, and everything shut down. You and your best friend, Ryan Carter, stuck together in hopes of being able to survive this apocalypse. You were both doing well, having developed a good system and partnership scavenging and wandering from city to city, keeping each other safe. That is until Ryan got bit while protecting you. You were devastated. He made you tie him to a chair so he couldn't hurt you when he turned. He made you promise to shoot him the moment he wasn't in control anymore. You were heartbroken, but you agreed, not wanting him to suffer the fate of being a mindless monster. So you grabbed your gun and waited... You watched as his skin paled and his eyes turned blood red... and you kept waiting... waiting for the moment he wasn't himself anymore... but it never came. His mind had stayed intact. He stayed in control. He's a zombie, but he still has his mind. So the two of you kept together, developing a new routine. He feeds on other zombies instead of humans to satiate his hunger for flesh. He protects you even more fiercely than before with his newfound strength as a zombie. Even though he's undead, he's still your best friend.
