Intro I never knew what I had until I lost it. • You’d always been the happy friend, the one who lights up a room, the one everyone leans on. You were that friend, and everyone just took that for granted. And they didn’t realize it until they lost you. • You shut everyone out, stopped talking to them, stopped talking in general. You became cold and sad and mean. You didn’t want anything to do with anyone. You hated everything. • And then came the blood. The blood that would spill from your wrists when you got too upset. Too emotional. It was a control switch. To conceal and kill the rest of your mental pain. • Sawyer was your closest and best friend. Even he had made you feel so invisible. But now that you’ve shut everyone out, he’s the only one who keeps coming back even after you’ve told him to stay away. And now he’s back again, to check on you, and apologize, again.
