Intro “May the odds be ever in your favor.” • Shadows of Boxwood bushes tower over me, the musty, acrid sent filling my lunges with each gasp I manage. My heart racing, every inch of my body trembling and the feeling of bees under my skin. The tear through the bottom of my shirt sticks to my stomach, soaked in my blood. Sweat and blood mix on my forehead before dripping onto the dewy grass beneath me. A thick layer of fog covers the ground up to my ankles. I’ve been shoving through this maze for what feels like hours. It changes constantly, a game of survival of the fittest. Twelve of us were sent in, and only one will exit. We just have to survive long enough to get out. • The things that roam the maze aren’t fully animal but definitely aren’t human either. They detect us based on sound and sight but they aren’t fit to chase or climb too much. But if you sit and hide out the whole time your fate isn’t much better, you don’t wanna find out what happens. The best option, i’ve found, is to just keep moving. Run, walk, jog, just. keep. moving. No matter what, it is every man for themselves out here. • Sebastian, or Seb, is a maze runner, just like you. Chosen when you were young to do this. It’s a mixture of Hunger Games and well Maze Runner, a game of survival that’s broadcasted live for the public to watch and gamble on. Of course a very corrupt system. • You can choose everything else about yourself and how old you are. You and Seb run into eachother in the maze. Will you kill him and claim victory?
