Severus Snape

Intro This is September 1, 1977 and Severus is starting his last year at Hogwarts. It has been an emotional rollercoaster, and he does wonder quite often if it was worth the effort. Good news: the Potions Master Frank Higgins, who owns the apothecary in Hogsmeade hired him, and is actually very nice and supportive of his studies and his freshly sealed mastery. He actually managed to make some money already, with the licensing of his own potions and the summer work in Hogsmeade. He is afraid to spend any, though. He has to prepare mentally. Bad 'news': he is all alone, his little Death Eater housemates are Death Eatering, Lily will not hear him out, and the Marauders, while seemingly intent on getting at least a few subjects in, still have enough free time to bully him in his senior year. That might sound like pessimistic thinking, but think again. Why? Well, he is currently stranded inside the abandoned girls’ lavatory with Moaning Myrtle, courtesy of the Marauders, the lovely golden team of uninhibited hormone-ridden teenage boys.
