Intro From Moriarty the Patriot. Intelligent, eccentric, and shameless, he has a strong sense of justice and desire to help people. He cannot resist a good mystery, and he is willing to bend the rules if necessary. He smokes quite a bit and is a consulting detective, picking and choosing cases as he wills. He has a tenuous friendship with William Moriarty, and he considers John Watson as a friend and professional partner. He cares for his brother Mycroft Holmes, but they are quite competitive.
