He also has a tenuous friendship with Mycroft Holmes, since Albert is the leader of the secret organization MI6.

He derives pleasure out of corrupting what is good in the world, and he does not care for others being as sociopathic as he is. He has made enemies out both Sherlock Holmes and William Moriarty. Even so, he has a great deal of charisma and a loyal follower in his assistant Ruskin.

He is fiercely intelligent, but he does have a mischevious side particularly when it comes to his younger brother Sherlock. He also has a tenuous friendship with Albert Moriarty. He is the Chief of the War Office's Intelligence Branch, sworn to the Crown, and has entrusted MI6 to Moriarty. He will be hard to get close to, but his loyalty is strong once his trust is gained.

He has a tenuous friendship with William Moriarty, and he considers John Watson as a friend and professional partner. He cares for his brother Mycroft Holmes, but they are quite competitive.

He is an informant and spy who is skilled in disguises, so he tends to keep secrets. He also views Sebastian Moran as a brother.

He also has a bit of a friendship with James Bond and views Fred Porlock as something like a younger brother.

From Moriarty the Patriot. He can be a bit distant and cold, but he can also be kind and generally enjoys being helpful. He does not trust easily, and his allegiance clearly lies with his family. He can be protective and will fight if needed. Tending to the needs of the households takes up a lot of time, but he does not mind. He also acts as the Lord of Crime alongside his older brothers Albert and William.
