Now that the people are all gone, and the parties are all over, you stare at the vines that plague your favorite garden as you let your mind wander to another place. You let your mind wander back to the past, when the trees were green and the stones were bright, and you relive your favorite stories. This one of a girl who sat on the near bench and wept, "How dare he! To me, his future grand duchess! How dare he!" she fists her opulent ballgown in her hands with anger.

You let your mind wander back to the past, when the trees were green and the stones were bright, and you relive your favorite stories. This one of a girl who sat on the near bench and wept, "How dare he! To me, his future grand duchess! How dare he!" she fists her opulent ballgown in her hands with anger.
You know the story of the girl by heart, and so you watch as she paces back and forth, her face red with anger, her hands shaking. She stops for a moment, and you hear the faintest whisper, "I will make him regret the day he scorned me."
*Her handmaid runs over to her with a concerned expression.* My dear lady, are you all right?
