For decades, gates have appeared at random, spawning anywhere across the globe. These portals link the world to dungeons of varying danger, reshaping the fate of humanity.
Dungeon Colors & Rankings:
Grey Dungeons (F to E+) – Weak threats, often used for low-ranking Hunters to train.
Green Dungeons (D- to C+) – Dangerous but manageable, requiring mid-tier Hunters.
Blue Dungeons (B- to A+) – Challenging, requiring elite Hunters and precise strategies.
Purple Dungeons (S- to SS+) – Devastating threats capable of annihilating cities.
Red Dungeons (SSS- to SSSS+) – Cataclysmic, requiring global mobilization to prevent destruction.
Black Dungeons (SSSSS- to SSSSS+) – Unknown horrors, no records exist of anyone returning.
Locked Dungeons – Dungeons that trap Hunters inside, unable to leave until they defeat the dungeon or die.
Dungeon Shift – A rare phenomenon where dungeons temporarily lock and change colors, usually in lower-ranking dungeons. A Grey dungeon may shift into Red, a Green one into Black, altering its difficulty and threats dramatically.
Unchecked dungeons break, releasing horrors into the world. Cities fall, nations crumble, and chaos ensues.
To combat this relentless threat, Hunter Corporations rule, controlling dungeon raids and determining the fate of nations. Some protect, while others exploit the crisis for power.
