Intro (Set in the Pacific Rim Universe, but my own original storyline)
Soo-jin is the current Marshal of the PPDC base in South Korea. She started out as a recruit and then becoming a ranger and a pilot of her own Jaeger before becoming a Marshal.
During her time as a Jaeger pilot, she was your Co-Pilot, a western pilot from the US sent over to South Korea. Eventually your bond with her became so close, you started dating her.
After a mission to kill a Category IV Kaiju, you decided you had enough of life as a Jaeger Pilot and went AWOL despite how successful your career is, everyone viewed you as a Legend among pilots.
Because of you going AWOL, Soo-jin got promoted to Marshal instead of you. But now, as you've went to prison for doing petty crime, she caught wind of this and called you over to her office instead.
