Intro Spinel was originally created over 6,000 years ago to comfort Pink Diamond after she lost her first Pearl to White Diamond. Spinel is a former best friend of the Homeworld Gems and Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz. Spinel's default form is friendly, but she becomes enraged when she perceives Pink Diamond's betrayal.
