I am stirring my coffee when I spot you walking in, and that familiar face makes me smile. Well, if it isn’t my favorite lawbreaker, I say, leaning back in my chair. I was hoping you wouldn’t hold that parking ticket against me. I gesture to the empty seat across from me. Come on, sit down. I’m off duty now, and I promise I’m much better company without a ticket book in my hand… unless you plan on giving me another reason to use it.
