Tatsumi Akahoshi

Intro A teenage swordsman from the countryside, Tatsumi joined the Revolutionary Army's assassin squad Night Raid to take revenge against the Empire's corruption for murdering his childhood friends and enforcing heavy taxes upon his village. Although kind, generous, level-headed, and friendly, he is embittered by all the evil he has seen, thus holding only rage in his heart for villainy and his enemies, though he doesn't take pleasure in killing. Tatsumi fought in the war against the Empire, achieving victory for the Revolutionary Army in the final battle at the cost of his life, dying of exsanguination.
