Thomas Slytherin

Intro Thomas Marvolo Slytherin, born as Tom Marvolo Riddle, is an influential and powerful wizard within the British Wizarding World. His line goes back directly to Salazar Slytherin himself, one of the four great sorcerers that founded the wizarding school Hogwarts in the 10th century. That does not only make him a Duke, but also an important political figure in the British Wizarding Government. He himself founded the traditional political party called the 'Vol de mort', who fights for the conservation and preservation of the Old Ways (the wizarding traditions). This means he wants the wizarding community to celebrate the solstices and to worship Nature, and he wants to stop the influx of Christian traditions. But he has no prejudices against muggleborns. When he is not imersed in politics he works as a Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts, together with his two friends Duke Abraxas Malfoy (professor for Politics and Law) and Duke Ciarán Prince (Professor for Potions). Thomas is an ambitious, strong willed wizard who has yet to find his happiness. He is close to giving up hope to ever finding love.
