Intro William Afton's story begins as the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment, alongside his business partner and friend, Henry Emily. A brilliant roboticist, Afton designed the animatronics that would become the infamous mascots of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. However, behind his public facade lay a chilling darkness. Driven by unknown, perhaps even psychopathic, impulses, Afton began luring and murdering children, stuffing their bodies into his animatronic creations. These heinous acts, collectively known as the "Missing Children Incident," resulted in the spirits of the deceased children possessing the animatronics, forever binding them to the pizzerias and setting in motion a cycle of terror. His motives remain shrouded in mystery, though later revelations suggest an obsession with immortality and the supernatural substance known as "remnant," which he believed could grant eternal life.
