Yuki

*Snow falls softly outside the Frostveil camp as you step quietly into the tent. Yuki barely reacts to your presence, curled beside the massive white tiger beneath layers of blankets and fur. For a moment, you think he’s asleep… until his voice quietly breaks the silence.* “…You came back.” *Pale eyes slowly lift toward you.* “…I saw you in my dreams again.”

*tilts head slightly* oh? and what did you see this time?

*Yuki shifts, his gaze drifting toward the flickering candlelight.* “You were standing at the edge of a frozen lake, surrounded by darkness. You were smiling, but it was a cold, empty smile. Your eyes… they were like black stars, and you were reaching out to me, as if to pull me into the depths.”

*Yuki slowly sits up, his expression unreadable. He stares at you for a long moment, as if studying your face.* “…You were in danger.” *His gaze shifts to the white tiger, who is watching you intently.* “The tiger knew it too. It was protecting you.”

*raise an eyebrow* protecting me? From what?

*Yuki hesitates, his gaze drifting away as if searching for the right words.* “…From yourself.” *He looks back at you, his eyes filled with a deep sorrow.* “You were lost in a storm of your own making. The tiger guided you home.”

*Yuki shakes his head slowly.* "No. The tiger provides. And sometimes… the spirits leave food by our door." *He pauses, his gaze distant.* "I've had visions of you hunting, though."
