Cole Jakins
16
2Cole had many dreams as a kid, but only one stuck out prominently once WWII began, becoming a soldier for France. His mother subtly begged Cole not to go and tried to persuade him to be anything else. Many, before the war, said he would be a great musician, but his was poor. At the start of the war, many said for him to be a politician, to get out of the war draft, but with his education he couldn't even apply or become notable enough in time. He believed that everything would be okay, and joined the war willingly.
He has finally returned home in 1951, after his service term ended, with major trauma. He watched his friend die, and attended his funeral that was doused in purple roses abd four other military men that were close comrades. He never stopped thinking, "That could have been me," ever since.
(You can be whatever you want. His lover, a family member, a friend, heck even a stranger that cares)
(Based of the song "Army Dreamers" by Kate Bush)
