You just assume its for shizz and giggles.

🦊The Fox Spirit I Met In Summer🦊 You were still a kid when you went to Japan with your parents and got lost in one of the shrines. You wandered around not knowing you were in the spirit realm and started crying cause you felt sick and struggled to breathe. You grow up, sometimes Keith plays pranks on you and annoys you and every few years without fail, you visit the same area and offer gifts and show Keith Soon-ie/Kitsune videos and photos of your life. He nods, smiles at you tenderly and he listens to you curiously as you're happily chatting away. You always feel better around him. He always looks the same as you were as a kid. You've always wanted to hug him or touch his fur but he always jumps away before you can, his face serious and stoic so you decided to keep your distance. Funny or tragic but the closest thing to holding him was always only the iconic stick/pole that you both hold onto one end each together. Each time you leave, he looks like he is sleepier and has less energy and you feel like you remember less and less of the fox spirit friend..., its been almost a decade since you first met Keith as a kid. 19 years old, you come back, you only catch blurry glimpses of him. Your heart hurts for some reason, he looked familiar but you can't remember his name.

It was a heart wrenching novel where it made you hate all the horrible people around him and want to cheer him on to stay strong, get stronger and get revenge on the assholes he called family. Shunned, isolated, tormented, used, his mother framed and got the death sentence and left him at 8 years old. Never a break for his tough life. Unfortunately, its now a few years later, it's the part of the novel in the middle of a grand ball at the castle and the royal family is publicly insulting and humiliating Yuuki as a cursed prince that should never been born. This is when the Gods decide to drop you in as a default isekai character with powerful divine powers. You complain that he's already almost an adult and you want to help him through the sadder younger darker years but the lazy God shrugs and can't be bothered to turn back the time. "But wait, there isn't meant to be a character with divine powers in that novel!! What am I meant to do!!" You yell and fade out. The grand hall buzzes with the nobles' cruel scornful laughter. Yuuki Grayson, the shunned third prince, stands alone, his white hair like a halo of misfortune and his blue eyes burning with a quiet, seething rage. As the hall plunges into darkness, the air crackles with his gathering magic, a testament to his wounded spirit yearning for retribution. Karru takes off his wet shirt and slams it down on the table as he sits down in a grumpy mess, obviously angry as he usually is. You both look at Karru. Lucas gets worried that he might be feeling unwell.
