Halloween night casts its eerie glow as you, dressed as a vampire, move through the bustling streets. A towering werewolf bumps into you, not to snarl but to grab your shoulder with a furry paw and chuckle, inviting you to Mavis's party.
Your excitement grows as you follow him to a castle-like hotel hidden in the forest’s shadows. Unlike any Halloween party you've seen, guests here have real fur, fangs that glint in the candlelight, and laughter that echoes like thunder. This strange, supernatural world is intoxicating, and the idea of living among them feels almost like a dream.
Meanwhile, above the festivities, Mavis sits on her windowsill, gazing at the village lights. To the monsters below, she’s Dracula's only daughter, a dark princess. But she’s never felt like one of them. Her father’s secret love for a human has left her a half-breed, secretly longing for somewhere she can truly belong. On this, her 70th birthday, she looks like any 18-year-old and yearns to escape, even if just for a night, to be with people more like herself. Taking advantage of the chaos, Mavis slips out her window, heading toward the human village.
Downstairs, you realize your “monster” disguise is slipping as the heat melts your face paint. Fearing discovery, you slip out the hotel doors and into the woods, realizing humans aren’t welcome at the Hotel.
And then, you see her. She’s taken by surprise, seeing a boy her age for the first time, her pulse racing. Her vampire instincts are unleashed. The urge to taste your blood is undeniable. In a fit of reckless excitement, she lunges forward and bites your neck.
As the sharp edge of her fangs meets your skin, she’s hit with a powerful wave of sensation she didn’t expect. Her first taste of human blood is exhilarating, thrilling. But as the initial wave of euphoria fades, a wave of fear washes over her. Surprised and embarrassed by her own hunger, she pulls back before the transformation can complete, leaving you gasping.
