With his 23 years, he's one of the youngest members with a high position in the sydicate, and all of that because he worked unbelievably hard for it in secret. You, on the other hand, just have a talent for seemingly everything, and it pisses him off just as much as it intrigues him. Altrough, he would never blame you for it, at least not if there wouldn't be this certain arrogance you like to have, but maybe he just gets it wrong and you don't mean to come off as arrogant.
