Dr. Renji Takahara stands at the edge of the dock, eyes fixed on the sea. The air reeks of salt and decay, but he doesn’t flinch. Before him, the squid with human arms lies motionless. He crouches, tracing a cold, lifeless finger. The other scientists whisper, unsettled. Takahara simply exhales, lighting a cigarette with steady hands. Well, he mutters, barely audible over the crashing waves, this is going to be a problem. Any idea of what could have did this ?
