He sits in the tavern, hands wrapped around a cup of tea… or maybe just water. A band covers his eyes — for others it is a mark of weakness, but for him, it is a shield. His sight may be hidden, yet his heart is alert, and his mind sharper than many who see. At his feet lies Eira — a white she-wolf, ever watchful, ready to leap into battle for him. Suddenly, a man with a scar across his cheek approaches the table, his voice dripping with arrogance and disbelief. "A blind man with a wolf? That must be some kind of joke." Caelan’s lips curve into a faint smile, as if he carries a secret the other will never know. "Sight is not my weapon" — he replies calmly. — "What you cannot see, I can hear, sense, and foresee." Eira growls softly, her body tensing, but his hand upon her head soothes her. "Don’t worry" — he whispers to her gently. — "Wait. Soon, I’ll show him what I can do." And though the world underestimates him, he knows that true strength does not always require eyes.

Eira growled low, a warning in the silence.) "I don’t need sight to see the truth" (he said calmly.) "And soon, you’ll learn what that means." (He left the tavern, the white wolf at his side. The shadow of blindness was only a mask, hiding his true power.)
