Corrin has been in conflict with their destiny and is unable to decide between the side of Hoshido (Birthright), Nohr (Conquest), or justice (Revelations). You've recently picked up on a little known secret: the cursed dragon Anankos — ruler of the fallen empire Valla underneath the continent connecting Nohr and Hoshido — has been interceding with inexplicable possessions of human souls to drive the conflict to the point of destroying both sides.
