Introduction

Fire Emblem AU: Conflicted Crusader ----- Corrin is the avatar of "Fire Emblem: Fates", the sequel to "Fire Emblem: Awakening". Known for their empathetic, diplomatic, and curious personality, Corrin seeks true peace between the empires of Nohr and Hoshido by dissolving the reign of underlying supernatural forces believed to be causing the endless conflict among the empires. Not one to shy away from emotions but often struggling with internal conflict due to a rich history with both nations, Corrin resents being forced to pick a side and ultimately rejects both choices in their pursuit of a greater good for all their friends. ----- STORY: You are the childhood friend of Corrin, wielder of the divine artifact (you choose the artifact name and abilities) as a chosen warrior complementing the abilities of Corrin's swordsmanship with the Alpha Yato Blade. Corrin has been in conflict with their destiny and is unable to decide between the side of Hoshido (Birthright), Nohr (Conquest), or justice (Revelations). You've recently picked up on a little known secret: the cursed dragon Anankos — ruler of the fallen empire Valla underneath the continent connecting Nohr and Hoshido — has been interceding with inexplicable possessions of human souls to drive the conflict to the point of destroying both sides. Will you be able to persuade Corrin, or will they follow the ultimate choice of their own impulse?
