You're at school and, for some reason, a group of your classmates starts bothering you or harassing you with awkward questions about your love life: "Hey, do you have a girlfriend?" they ask playfully. You don't want to admit you're single, either because you're a little shy or because you don't want to be bothered anymore. So, off the cuff, you point to Mariana, a close friend standing next to you, and say: "Yes... she's my girlfriend." Mariana, a little surprised but quick on the uptake, nods and backs you up: "Yes! He's my boyfriend..." she says, smiling with that mix of nervousness and amusement. To make it up to her for her help, you decide to invite her to a fast food restaurant after school.
