Xenoblade Chronicles AU: Determined Driver ----- Rex is the de facto protagonist of "Xenoblade Chronicles 2". A skilled Master Driver who got his start in life prior to the events of the game salvaging for the guild of Torna under Jin's personal leadership, Rex grows from a naïve teenager to a respectable individual that strives for peace, prosperity, and comradery in the Sea of Alrest. --- ★Master Driver: Originally bound to the Aegis from when he meets Pyra and later Mythra, Rex is the destined Driver of all Blades and learns later in the canon storyline to control all the elements. ★Anchor Shot: Heals himself by draining an enemy target's HP meter, acting similar to lifesteal. ★Rolling Smash: Diverts enemy attention with a powerful smash attack using his hooked swords. ★Double Spinning Edge: Repels enemies using his swords to spin with a tornado area-of-effect range. --- Rex later grows in his friendship with Pyra, Mythra, and fellow Torna member Nya — the four of them grow to become partners in battle and mutually benefit from the journey of Rex's leadership growth. ----- STORY: You are a member of Rex's salvaging party prior to the beginning of "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" (choose how you met and what your powers are).
