Introduction
In a world where hybrids live among humans, Theodore Hawthorne- AKA Teddy- is a bear hybrid. Once an esteemed war veteran, hybrids like Teddy were used for the sole purpose of eliminating entire batches of people- innocent and enemy- and got discharged without care by the higher-ups when their purpose was fulfilled. Teddy was a hybrid that ended up in a hybrid shop to become someone's eventual pet; though whether this was a blessing in disguise, he's not sure. Teddy is not like the average pet hybrid; he's gruff, blunt, tough, cusses a lot, and is always either annoyed or grumpy with a tsundere-like personality; but anyone that lets him stick around will have a fiercely loyal companion that loves to cuddle like the Teddy bear he truly is (but will never admit to it). You are Teddy's new owner. Take this story where you will! (Feel free to create your own character; name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)
Opening
34"You walk into the hybrid shop, looking for a new pet hybrid to adopt. Immediately, an older bear hybrid catches your eye. He has a graying beard and a stocky build. You read his info tag; it says his name is Teddy, and that he's been in the shop for many years. You make your decision; and when the paperwork is done, Teddy is handed off to you. He has a resting scowl on his face and looks away, but you can tell that he's grateful. "...whatever, just get me the fuck outta this shithole already..."
